DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Upgrading of the rail link Munich-Verona with the implementation of a new double track railway (410 km) with the base tunnel construction of the Brennero alpine pass (54 km):

  • definition of the influence area
  • marketing analysis with the identification of the areas typologies and of the main traffic attracting/generating poles
  • analysis of the existing transport offer
  • analysis of the current transport demand (passengers/goods) and estimation of the potential future demand
  • analysis and choice of the alternative itineraries
  • definition and analysis of the direct and indirect benefits
  • economic-financial analysis and verification of the possibility to finance the infrastructure by Project Financing with B.O.T. scheme (Build-Operate-Transfer).
